On June 8, 2025, shortly after 12:30 PM, a skydiving aircraft departing from Tullahoma Regional Airport in Coffee County, Tennessee, encountered a mishap and made an emergency landing in an open field approximately 15 minutes after takeoff.
2. Aircraft and Occupants
The aircraft involved was a DHC-6 Twin Otter configured for skydiving operations, carrying a total of 20 people on board, including passengers and crew.
3. Injuries and Casualties
Fortunately, no fatalities were reported. Of the fourteen individuals requiring further care, four sustained serious injuries—three were airlifted to hospitals by helicopter, and one was transported by ground ambulance. The remaining passengers received first aid on site.

Video footage and on-scene reports indicate that the aircraft’s tail section and right wing suffered significant damage. Tennessee Highway Patrol officers and local first responders quickly secured the crash site.
